ALIA Labs

Difficult problems.Built solutions.

ALIA Labs is a global applied engineering and technical services company. We build, automate, integrate, source and deliver solutions for requirements that do not fit inside an existing product.

  5. Delivery

02What we do

Eight verbs. Each one ends in something that works.

01

Build

We build custom systems and technical products to written acceptance criteria.

That covers workflow systems, data platforms, optimization engines, ERP and MES connectors, and specialized operational software. Every build is documented and handed over in a state your own team can operate and extend.

02

Automate

We automate operational and industrial processes end to end.

We target the steps people repeat every day, including reconciliation, reporting, inspection, scheduling and data movement between systems. Where a process spans machines and software, we take responsibility for both sides of it.

03

Integrate

We integrate software, data, equipment and existing infrastructure.

We connect modern APIs, legacy databases, PLCs, spreadsheets and vendor systems that were never designed to exchange data. The integration is engineered for the failure modes, not just the intended path.

04

Source

We source components, equipment and specialized suppliers.

When the constraint is a part, an instrument or a vendor rather than code, we locate the source, qualify the supplier and negotiate the terms. That includes obsolete and end-of-life components the original manufacturer no longer supports.

05

Engineer

We engineer solutions that cross disciplinary boundaries.

Problems that sit between software, hardware, operations and procurement rarely fit a single vendor. We take responsibility for the whole requirement rather than one layer of it.

06

Investigate

We investigate research problems before large capital is committed.

A structured technical investigation covers feasibility, cost drivers, risks and prior art. The finding arrives as a written document you can act on before the capital decision, not after it.

07

Optimize

We optimize scheduling, allocation, routing and constrained operations.

We build constraint solvers and optimization models against your real limits, not an idealized version of them. The result is measured against your current baseline before it replaces anything.

08

Deliver

We coordinate the engineers, suppliers and integration partners a deployment depends on, and we stay involved until it runs.

A solution counts as delivered when it runs in your environment, with your people, at your scale. We manage installation, commissioning and handover to get it there.

03Global delivery

One problem. The right capabilities, wherever they are.

A single deliverable may combine software written in the United States, components sourced in Asia, manufacturing in Mexico, testing in Europe and commissioning by a local integrator. We assemble that chain around the requirement, and we remain accountable for the result as one engagement.

04Example problems, not customer quotes

Bring us the problem, not a shopping list.

Engagements start with statements like these. If one of them sounds like your operation, send it exactly as written. The specification can come later.

01

Our operators manually reconcile information from five systems every morning.

02

Our equipment supplier no longer manufactures a critical component.

03

We have a scheduling problem that existing software cannot model.

04

A procurement specification requires a capability none of our current vendors provide.

05

The process works, but only because three experienced employees know how to hold it together.

06

We need to know whether this can be automated before committing capital.

05Process

Uncertainty first.
Capital last.

The same sequence applies whether the deliverable is a script or a production system. Each step exists to retire a specific kind of risk before the next one is paid for.

  1. 01

    Define

We map the requirement, the constraints, the economics and the failure conditions before any solution is proposed.

  2. 02

    De-risk

We test the assumptions most likely to kill the project before significant engineering or capital is committed to it.

  3. 03

    Build

We develop the minimum complete system required to prove the approach under real operating conditions.

  4. 04

    Validate

We test the result against acceptance criteria that were written down at the start, with numbers attached.

  5. 05

    Deploy

We integrate the solution into the actual operating environment and run it alongside the people who will own it.

  6. 06

    Expand

We productize, automate or scale the solution only after it has proved useful in operation.

06Engagement models

Ten ways to engage us.

The structure of an engagement follows the uncertainty in the problem and the deliverable it requires. We scope each one against the work in front of us, and we do not sell standard packages.

  • Technical assessment
  • Fixed-scope engineering
  • Rapid prototype
  • Paid pilot
  • Custom development
  • Systems integration
  • OEM & white-label engineering
  • R&D collaboration
  • Procurement response
  • Long-term engineering engagement

07Areas & industries

Areas we are actively investigating

Each of these is an open technical investigation inside ALIA Labs, where we build capability and prototypes ahead of demand. None of them is a claim about client work.

  • 01Regulatory systems
  • 02Industrial optimization
  • 03Operational automation
  • 04Infrastructure intelligence
  • 05Cybersecurity
  • 06Machine-assisted technical workflows
  • 07Logistics
  • 08Resource efficiency
  • 09High-performance computing
  • 10Systems integration

Problems can come from anywhere.

Industry context matters, but the underlying engineering patterns repeat across sectors. We keep finding fragmented systems, constrained resources, manual operations, difficult integrations, obsolete equipment and requirements that existing products do not satisfy.

  • Industrial & Manufacturing
  • Logistics & Transportation
  • Energy & Infrastructure
  • Healthcare Systems
  • Financial & Business Operations
  • Public Sector
  • Construction & Property

What is not working?

Send the requirement, the failed process, the specification or the procurement document. We will read it and tell you plainly whether it is work we should take on.
